Once we arrived back to camp -- we loaded up and we were off to "Rocky Knob Bar" to have hamburgers! We later headed north to Missoula to visit with a friend - remember it was July 4th and people were busy setting off fireworks. Our friend who does packing in for a living gave us a book "BACK COUNTRY HORSEMEN OF AMERICA GUIDEBOOK" -- That's great! Read the instructions after we go!
We then headed on the long trail home which found the skies all lit up with colorful fireworks!
That trip is every cow girl's dream trip! I'm not a cow girl, but would sure like a trip like that too!!!!

Great, great photo diary of such an adventure! So very interesting to read and study the photos. You certainly encountered alot of different situations. Harriet deserved big hugs and kisses as did the other horses. Thankfully your camera stayed safe and sound...unlike your contact stuff--how did you manage w/o that stuff? Dale probably wondered...what dod I retrieve next? What an adventure, what memories! Thank you so much for sharing. So very,very interesting....
ReplyDeleteP.S. No kidding===thankfully you all finished the big adventure without any serious injuries. Makes even me want to be a real cowboy for a day...well...almost. (That would be another story)...Can't wait to read the next big adventure story.
